Happy Halloween!!!
Alright, yesterdays post was about the struggle with sleep. One of those had been getting our little baby to sleep longer throughout the day without having to be held. In the midst of my running thoughts, I remembered we had a specific swaddle we got from family as a gift for our baby shower.
Enter the Love To Dream SWADDLE UP! This thing is amazing. It offers all the same benefits of a swaddle, warmth, coziness and mimicking the womb. The only difference here is that the baby is able to put their arms up by their head. Our little one always loves having her hands up by her face. In fact, in each ultrasound picture she always has one arm up by her head. Of course she would want something like allows her the freedom to do the same now.
Since she was born we have been using the Aden + Anais Harry Potter Swaddles which has been great! And the HP design is absolutely adorable. But LTD Swaddle seems to fit the needs of our currently growing baby. She loves it and seems to be sleeping more soundly with it on.
We probably won’t use this one much longer. Once babies show signs up rolling over, the company suggest switching to the transition bag which frees up the baby’s arms.
Really glad I remembered we had this thing and a little sad I didn’t use it sooner. Would have saved us and gotten our little baby to sleep a bit better throughout the day. Hoping this one continues to give us some solid daytime naps.
