And another week has flown by! Where has time gone in all seriousness? I can’t believe that October is almost over and then we will be onto the holiday season! This past week was a good one for us. It was filled with going out on solo adventures with the baby, running errands, finding new routines and going to doctors appointments. I read something the other day on social media addressing the overwhelming feeling of iscolations new moms especially in those first few months. Ever outting can seem like a huge mountain you need to climb. But the new mom had the most encouraging words. She said that its okay to feel that way and to acknowledge it. Then start by doing little things like going to grab coffee, a walk around the park or even a story time at your local library. She said your life doesn’t have to stop now that you have a kid. You will just learn to bring them along with you. Lastly she mentioned, the more practice you get, the easier it will be. That really stuck with me and we really tried to focus on that this past week. Did it go perfectly every time? Absolutely not. Did I bring enough diapers on each adventure or come fully prepared? That’s a negative turbo. But with each new trip, I did gain a bit more confidence that helped me feel better. Practice makes perfect am I right? I hope you all have a great week.
Thanks for reading. Cheers!!!
