The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston

Just flying through these books lately!  And I’m not mad about it.  Can I give a quick little shoutout to  The Novel Neighbor.  They are a bookstore out of St. Louis, Missouri who are incredibly active on social media and provide the best book recommendations in short form.  Most of my TBR is from their recommendations.  Here is yet again another one of their recs.

The Seven Year Slip involves two individuals, growing into their own identities.  One working her way up in the book publishing firm and the other a top class chef.  They unexpectedly come across each other through the use of a time traveling apartment.  This story will dive into concepts of growth, identity, acceptance and well of course love.  And a few sprinkles of food references never hurts.

Anytime there is a love story involving time travel, I tend to shy away from them.  Anyone remember The Time Traveler’s Wife?  Yeah that book wrecked me years ago which was why I was unsure about this one.  But don’t let that deter you!  It’s a light read, a bit predictable but low risk if you know what I mean.

Thanks for reading! Cheers!!!
