Look the newborn phase is hard. Anyone that tells you differently is lying or they just haven’t truly experienced it for themselves or from the vantage point of a mama. Currently my newborn is all about those contact naps. I love holding my baby as she falls asleep, consoling her when she is fussy by bringing her close and gently rocking her. I know, I’m holding her a ton but she is only going to be this little once in life. I want to take advantage of this time and bonding as much as I can. But sometimes, well I have to get things done around the house or even just for myself. Holding a baby while they sleep doesn’t really help with this.
Introducing the Solly Baby Wrap (we got ours in Basil). This thing has amazing! Unlike other wraps, I was sold on this one because it’s incredibly breathable and light. I love that I can wrap my baby up and keep her close. It’s super easy to wash too. Just throw it in a delicates bag, wash cold on gentle cycle and dry tumble dry low.
I will give the disclaimer that there is a learning curve when it comes to learning how to use the wrap. But a quick session of watching these helpful videos from Solly Baby and a couple practice rounds will have you wearing this thing like a pro.
Let me know in the comments if you have one and what you think!
